Collegiate Chapters
Students: Serious about a marketing career? See how a collegiate membership can help you get started.
If you are exploring the many dimensions of marketing as a career, then it is time to recognize that the AMA – the world’s largest association of marketing professionals – is a valuable key to your marketing success. There are currently 390 AMA collegiate chapters and 14,000 student members across North America taking advantage of membership in marketing’s premiere professional organization.
As competition grows, the need for marketing skills increases. Professionals with a solid background are more likely to succeed! Sure, you can include AMA membership on your resume, but don’t let that be your only motivation for joining. The value of membership while in college is the knowledge, skills, and practical experience that AMA provides. These benefits cannot be gained in the classroom alone. Read more about what AMA collegiate membership offers at the national AMA site.
Participation in the collegiate chapter on your campus is an integral part of the AMA experience. Involvement in activities, committees, and service as an officer will provide practical marketing, advertising, management, promotion, and financial planning experience – experience that increases your value in today’s competitive job environment.
