March Speaker Presentation Summary
AMA March Luncheon at SAS Institute- Great Food and Excellent Strategy for Connecting with the C-Level Executive
The March luncheon at SAS Institute in Cary was a departure from our regular meeting structure. SAS provided lunch in their company dining room, and the compliments we’ve heard about the food proved to be true. The event was a sell-out, and space constraints limited attendance to AMA members.
The speaker was Robert Tschudi, Director of the SAS Executive Speaker Office. (Originally scheduled speaker Jim Davis was called away for an international press tour.) Mr. Tschudi has been at SAS since 1989. His experience includes a number of marketing positions within SAS for the Marketing Communications Group, SAS Worldwide Marketing, SAS Statistical Instruments Group and SAS R&D Applications Group. Bob also served as Manager of Creative & Business for SouthPeak Interactive (a SAS company), then as Director of Business and Product Development, and finally General Manager. His goal as director of the Executive Speaker Office is to help establish SAS senior executives as thought leaders in their field.

Message from President: Look Up. Look Around.
by Jim Tobin, Brogan & Partners; President, Triangle AMA 2005-2006
Remember when a cup of coffee was simple? Your parents made it at home. There was no such thing as decaf. No freeze-dried. There were coffee shops, but saying "gourmet coffee" would have been laughable.
Remember when TV had three channels? I’m not counting Public Broadcasting or those strange UHF channels that sometimes came in when the rabbit ears were just right. And when Fox came on the air all the newspapers wrote articles with titles like: "Is there room for a fourth network?" Ha! Read More
