Triangle AMA Hosts Luncheon Presentation Open to Area Professionals

Raleigh, NC – August 26, 2008 – Successful marketing to small businesses is big business, and companies throughout the Triangle are looking for ways to increase sales to small businesses. During a luncheon presentation open to area professionals, Donald Mazzella, COO of a leading small business advisory firm, will share:

• 14 myths of small businesses
• 10 things managers must do to profitably sell or market to small businesses
• tips on effective direct mail and online marketing to small businesses

“Most of our suggestions do not cost money. Rather, we offer ways of refocusing the marketing efforts for better results,” says Mazzella.

Based on years of research and interaction with small businesses, — a sector that represents more than 85 percent of the nations GNP — Mazzella’s company, Information Strategies, Inc., has advised major corporations and start-ups on ways of increasing their close rates in the small business market.

“In many cases, we have improved sales by 20 percent without adding marketing dollars,” he adds.

Mazzella has been instrumental in creating an information and marketing organization that serves more than 5 million online readers each month. He has overseen the research and staffing implementations that have made its reports on IT, financial services and marketing functions widely read and reported. In this capacity, Mazzella has worked with some of the biggest names in publishing to create numerous webcasts aimed at the small and medium-size business community.
