News Release
Raleigh, NC, December 7, 2007 – On a daily basis consumers are hit numerous times with marketing and advertising campaigns. Companies are spending millions to attract new clients and maintain current customers. Once companies capture your attention, what’s next? ― the sales process. You talk to a person and decide if the product or service is right for you. When you finally decide to buy, which had the most influence on you purchasing the product? Was it the marketing team that caught your attention connected you with sales or the sales team that provided you with more information and made the final transaction?
Scott Wilkerson, Partner at HawkPartners LLC, will provide marketing professionals with the knowledge needed to measure their sales and marketing pipeline performance during the Triangle American Marketing Association luncheon on Thursday, December 20. Wilkerson is a Partner at HawkPartners LLC, a marketing consulting boutique that helps Fortune 500 companies make fact-based decisions to guide their communications, marketing and brand strategies.
“Companies are under increasing pressure to manage and measure marketing investments to meet sales targets,” says Wilkerson. “An integrated measurement framework can improve sales and marketing visibility and resolve issues like where to allocate sales and marketing resources. My presentation will include an assessment tool that will help sales and marketing professionals assess their current performance and create a framework.”
During the presentation, attendees will also gain insights on how to better understand customer buying behavior, and the reasons why major deals have been lost.
The Triangle AMA Luncheon takes place on Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Brier Creek Country Club (9400 Club Hill Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617). Cost is $25 for AMA members and $35 for non-members. Learn more and register at: www.triangleama.org
