Creating Brand “You” -- Special Luncheon Presentation Sponsored by Triangle American Marketing Association
Raleigh, NC – July 30, 2007 -- Corporations spend millions each year to build and protect their brand images. But in this free agent, outsourced world, it is increasingly important to develop and manage your personal brand.
The Triangle American Marketing Association will explore this topic at its monthly lunch meeting on August 16, at 11:30 a.m. with guest speaker Susan Amey, Director of MBA Career Management at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Amey, who is also a 20-year marketing veteran, will outline a step-by-step roadmap for defining and building your personal brand.
“To succeed in business today, you need to not only possess the right education, obtain the right experience, and attitude, you also need to cultivate a strong brand for yourself,” Amey said. “This presentation is designed to give attendees real-life tools to define, shape, and maximize their personal brands.”
The Triangle AMA Luncheon takes place on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Briar Creek Country Club (9400 Club Hill Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617). Cost is $25 for AMA members and $35 for non-members. Learn more and register at: www.triangleama.org
