Troy Knight is director of the design and media division at VACO Raleigh, LLC, where he is responsible for building a new division of VACO Raleigh specializing in serving the candidate needs of clients, both existing and prospective, in the United States and globally, in the design, gaming, eLearning and media professions. His job duties include account management as well as recruiting.

Troy has more than 14 years of experience in Design, Gaming, Learning and Media. He earned his associate’s degree in mechanical drafting from Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, N.C., an associate’s degree in architecture from Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Troy has served as a lead application engineer, senior project manager and production manager, head of project management and director of global production. From 2001 to 2005 he was president of his own firm, Bluemoon Design, Inc., where he managed, developed and designed interactive media, computer renderings and animations, computer based training applications, eLearning, Web site design, corporate identity branding and product design.

He joined VACO Raleigh in April 2008 and launched VACO Design and Media.

A native of Cary, Troy resides in Raleigh with his wife, Kristen, and his son, Tyler.
