Happy Holidays to you and your families! We have a lot going on between now and the holidays and hope you will join us at all these events. For more details, please check out our chapter’s website at www.triangleama.org.

Accomplishments/Progress

Join the conversation as we launch Triangle AMA’s social media/network integration between LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, and other tools. See what Brian McDonald and his growing Newsletter committee have developed on:

Join us Thursday, December 18 at our monthly luncheon meeting to learn how Red Hat has found new opportunities at the intersection of brand and culture, applied classic brand positioning concepts, and incorporated the power of design to become a $500+ million global technology leader. While maintaining brand relevance and a strong internal culture, Red Hat has been the leading software company in vendor value and satisfaction for four years running, as ranked by CIOs. Our Branding Boot Camp, coordinated by Drexel Barrett, was very well attended on December 4th, with over twenty participants! Look out for our next marketing training Boot Camp this March. If you’d like to learn more or get involved in any of the above committees, please contact our VP of Volunteers, Brian Gossett at volunteer@triangleama.org.

 Plans/Actions/Challenges

The Triangle Chapter has grown to well over 375 members. We all know professional memberships generally pay off in direct proportion to a person's level of involvement. Since volunteering with the Triangle AMA is rewarding both personally and professionally, I encourage each of you to visit our website or talk to any one of our board members to see how you can meet more people, get involved, and volunteer with our chapter. Please click here to visit the volunteer page on trianagleama.org.

To help our many marketing friends between jobs, we’re expanding our emphasis and opportunities on our Job Board. If you’d like to help us in recruiting companies to post their job opportunities on our job board, please contact Betsy Graham and the Job Board Committee at the Triangle AMA Job Bank.

Parting Thoughts

There’s never been a better time to renew your membership, become a member, or become a more active member of the Triangle AMA Chapter than right now! With all that’s going on in the economy, why wouldn’t you want to be having fun, helping, and networking with the area’s leading marketing professionals? I hope to see you soon at our next meeting or social.
